- Court proceedings are taking place in New Westminster or Vancouver (for Burnaby cases)

- Emotional support during police investigations and court proceedings
- Resources and referrals to relevant community agencies throughout the criminal justice process
- Assistance with safety planning
- Explanation of the criminal justice system and the roles within (e.g., Police, Crown Counsel, Judge, etc.)
- Up-to-date information regarding the status of investigations and court proceedings
- Support with justice-related forms and applications (e.g., Crime Victim Assistance Program applications, Victim Impact Statements, etc.)
- Court preparation sessions for young victims or witnesses
- Accompaniment to court and justice-related meetings
- Support provided over the phone and/or in person, based on individual needs
- For children and youth subpoenaed to testify in court, multiple court preparation sessions can be arranged with a victim support worker prior to the court date.
