Affordable Recreation for Community Health (ARCH) - Financial Assistance for Recreation in Kamloops

ARCH is a subsidy program that helps people access City facilities and programs.
Recreation plays an important role in healthy living, and supporting community members in reaching their goals is a priority. Affordable transit is also essential for ensuring that people in need can access recreation opportunities. Applications for KamPASS, the City’s affordable transit program, are submitted through the ARCH application.

To qualify, applicants must be a permanent resident in the City of Kamloops and meet one of the options below:
  • Receive income assistance from the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction
  • Have an annual income that falls below the Statistics Canada Low Income Guidelines
  • Receive a Canadian pension or long‑term disability that falls below the Statistics Canada Low Income Guidelines
