Eating Disorder Program - Child and Youth - Fraser East

Provided by Ministry of Children and Family Development

Provides eating disorder services to children, youth ages 0-18 and their families.
Provides treatment and support for children, youth ages 0-18 with an eating disorder and their families.

Treatment modalities include group, individual, family counselling, EFFT, psychoeducation, workshops, medical and psychiatric assessments, and follow-up.

Children, youth and families can self-refer by attending their local CYMH intake clinic during the times listed below. Please call for more info.

Parents/caregivers should make alternate child care arrangements for children who are too young to wait in the waiting room alone during parts of the interview process.

Older children and youth (age 13-18) are strongly encouraged to attend the clinic with their parents/caregivers. If there is concern about family involvement, please call beforehand to discuss with CYMH Team Leader.
