Provides poverty law advocacy for the community.
The Community Law Advocacy Program provides information, advice, referrals and representation for a variety of issues including:
  • Disability
  • Tenancy Issues
  • Employment Standards
  • Human Rights
  • Canada Pension Plan
  • Old Age Security
  • Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS)
  • Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters (Safer)
Eligibility Requirements: Residents of Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows. Please phone 604-467-6911, extension 1209, and leave a detailed message. An advocate will return your call. Messages are checked daily.
