The May Bennett Meal Program is a community based food service program committed to delivering quality food to improve the quality of life to its clients in the Central Okanagan. The May Bennett Meal Program is operated by Interior Health's Food Services Department from the May Bennett Wellness Centre. The program supports the needs of the local population in the Central Okanagan Area providing meals to those in need.
The May Bennett meal program works directly with Veterans Affairs for direct billing. If you are a DVA client, you might qualify for access to the meal program. If approved, your 3 course meals will be paid for. Contact us and your service provider for additional details.
Referral criteria: The meals are for individuals who are home-bound, have a disability and/or unable to get access to nutritious & delicious meals. In addition, if you have had surgery and unable to prepare a meal at home, you might qualify for the meal delivery service
