Counselling Centre - For Women and Children Experiencing or Having Experienced Abuse - Ridge Meadows

Provides services for women and their children impacted by domestic violence/abuse.
Stopping the Violence Program: Confidential, supportive counselling and resources for self-identifying women and non-binary individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, or sexual abuse. Rooted in a strengths-based, client-led approach, this program honours participants’ voices and provides tools and education to support progress at an individual pace. The STV program is available to those above the age of 19, living in the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and Katzie First Nation communities. To book an intake, click here.

PEACE Program: The PEACE Program Offers age-appropriate counselling and resources to help children and youth (ages 3–18) understand their experiences, build resilience, and feel safe. They also support non-offending caregivers so families can begin to heal, together. Children ages 6–11 must be supported by a parent or caregiver, youth ages 12+ may self refer. Group Programs & Workshops: Free drop-in groups and workshops that create space to connect, share experiences, and gain tools, resources, and support - helping individuals and families feel understood and empowered in a welcoming, judgement-free environment.
