Work 2 Live and Adventure Sessions

Provided by Zero Ceiling

Zero Ceiling provides employment and adventure-based learning programs that empower at-risk and homeless youth to develop the life skills needed to choose a healthier path and set them up for a successful life.
The Work 2 Live program is a 12-month housing and employment program for young people aged 19-24 who are experiencing homelessness or precarious housing. Young people from the Sea to Sky Corridor, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland are eligible to take part. Work 2 Live is an MCFD-accredited Life Skills program for young people with an Agreement with Young Adults. As well as stable housing, all participants benefit from full-time employment, life skills training, mental health support, case management and land-based recreation. Work 2 Live helps young people have a healthy transition to adulthood and independent living. No-one ever "ages out" of the Work 2 Live program. As young people transition to independent housing, we provide one-to-one support for as long as they choose.

The Adventure Sessions provide youth and young adults ages 16-24 with an empowering, inspiring and often transformative break from their day-to-day challenges. Offering sessions designed to showcase all that Whistler’s mountain life has to offer, including snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, zip lining, whitewater rafting and more!
