Offers support to all individuals over the age of 19 who are victims/survivors of sexual assault.
The Sexual Assault Support Service can be as involved as the victim/survivor would like them to be. Offering seamless, wrap round services through a trauma informed lens, the Sexual Assault Navigator can complete an intake based on individual needs. This program accepts self-referrals from people of all genders, including 2SLGBTQUIA+ persons, and works as an ally alongside all individuals seeking support.
Services may include:
- Counselling Services
- Learning options and Assisting with Reporting
- Hospital Callouts
- Victim Services
In addition, there is a weekly drop-in survivors support group for for women and self-identifying women ages 19 and up who have experienced abuse. No registration is required. The group meets on Thursdays 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM. This group offers more than just support; it includes psycho-educational workshops and discussions that provide practical tools and insights to assist survivors throughout their healing process.
