Offers family resources, drop-in programs for parents, caregivers and their children in South Surrey
SFP programs currently include Family Place and Baby Place. Various other sessions are regularly offered for dance, exercise and arts and crafts. Special visits from our friendly community helpers like nurses, librarians, dentists, and the Music Man, Nelson Beavington, aim to provide families with important contacts and resources.
All programs, while supervised by facilitators, are parent participation.
Everyone is welcome to drop in at any day and any time. No pre-registration is necessary.
Services include:
Family Place (children 0-6 years old): A great opportunity for families with children 0-6 years old to connect with other parents, caregivers, and children through play. Activities include circle time, arts and crafts, music and movement, storytime, and free play. $5 Drop-in fees per family (fees can be waived on a case-by-case basis).
Baby Place (0-18 months): Baby Place provides a calm, safe environment for new parents to meet each other with their babies. Activities include circle time, tummy time, music, and storytime. Features Music Man Nelson. $5 Drop-in fees per family (fees can be waived on a case-by-case basis).
