Parkview Child and Adolescent Mental Health Centre

Provides treatment and assessment of children and youth (Ages 6 -18) for behavioural and emotional challenges.
  • Parkview Child & Adolescent Mental Health Centre provides urgent assessment, intervention and referral for children and youth aged 6 to18 in hospital and emergency departments at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
  • Provides treatment and assessment of children and youth for behavioural and emotional challenges, and for those in need of admission to the pediatric in-patient psychiatry unit. Also provides youth workers and social work services as needed.
  • Parents or caregivers must attend initial assessment. Helpful to provide a copy of any previous assessments (including school psycho-educationals assessments).
