Caregiver Support, Home Health Care, and Services for Seniors

Respite services provides caregiver rest and relief from the emotional and physical demands of caregiving duties.
How to Access Services

New clients:

Contact Fraser Health Access Line: Home and Community Care (previously called the Home Health Service Line).

There are 2 ways to do this:

1) Call 1-855-412-2121 or
2) Book a telephone appointment by filling out the online form

Are open 7 days a week from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 365 days a year.

Current Clients:

Contact local Home Health location.

This includes meeting with the individual and the individual's caregiver to discuss what best meets their needs.

Based on care needs, respite care is available in the following:
  • Long-term care sites
  • Assisted living facilities

How to access in-facility respite for current Home Health clients:
  • Login to bookabreak.fraserhealth.ca/login
  • View availability in the calendar
  • Search for dates at facility of choice and request the stay
  • Contact the community health nurse for account ID.
