Caregiver Support, Family / Parenting, and Indigenous Services

- Learn about mindfulness, effective coping strategies, and helpful tips,
- Connect with other caregivers and get reassurance and support in a safe and friendly environment,
- Take-home resources related to the group’s needs,
- Participating helps feeling less lonely, isolated or judged. Reducing distress, depression, anxiety or fatigue,
- Provides culturally appropriate family supports to learn about Indigenous cultural teachings.
- MCFD Out Of Care Caregivers,
- Experiencing challenges and struggles in their caregiver role,
- Caregiver must be a resident of Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows,
- Ability to attend monthly group - program hours are flexible and adapted to meet the needs of the family.
